VTech Security installs home intercom systems in Doreen, from Dahua video doorbells at $450 to IP intercoms with an indoor screen at $780, along with CCTV cameras and alarms for complete home security. Most homes here are large family houses, so an intercom at the front door works well alongside cameras over the driveway and backyard. Our ASIAL-licensed team installs on Saturdays and sends a written quote within 24 hours, whether you’re in Laurimar or on a bigger block east of Yan Yean Road.
Every service below is supplied, installed and set up by the same licensed team.
Doreen sits about 29 km north-east of Melbourne’s CBD and is split by Yan Yean Road. The western side, in the City of Whittlesea, includes newer estates such as Laurimar, while the eastern side, in the Shire of Nillumbik, remains rural as part of Melbourne’s green wedge.
Almost 95% of homes are separate houses, two in three have four or more bedrooms, and households average two cars. That adds up to a lot of driveway, garage and side access to cover. On larger rural blocks, the house can sit well back from the front gate, so a wired gate intercom and cameras covering the entry are worth considering.
