VTech Security provides intercom installation in St Kilda for apartment blocks, mansion flats, terraces and shopfronts. For houses and single-storey terraces, we install Dahua video doorbells from $450 and IP intercoms from $780, and we quote multi-unit systems for apartment buildings after a site check. The same ASIAL-licensed team also installs CCTV cameras, alarms, antennas and every other service we offer, with a written quote within 24 hours and Saturday installation available.
Every service below is supplied, installed and set up by one licensed team.
St Kilda sits about 6 km south-east of the CBD in the City of Port Phillip and is one of Melbourne’s most densely populated suburbs. Around 79% of homes are flats or apartments, from interwar mansion flats such as Summerland Mansions and Belvedere Flats to high-rises like Edgewater Towers. About 60% of homes are rented, and more than half are single-person households, so a video intercom lets residents check who’s downstairs before buzzing anyone in.
In older buildings, we’ll check whether the existing intercom cabling can be reused or needs replacing.
For cafés, bars and shops along Fitzroy and Acland Streets, we can combine CCTV over entries and counters with an intercom at a rear or staff door.
